Baseball Coaches
Tim Bailey
Tim is our Head Baseball Instructor and has been with us since our inception, as Extra Innings, in 2015. During this time, Tim has ran our Pitching Velocity, Power Hitting, and HS Prep Camps. Since 2018, Tim has been the Head Coach of the Sherrill Silversmiths in the New York Collegiate Baseball League, making the playoffs in his first season. Along with the Silversmiths, Tim has been the Varsity Pitching Coach at Chicopee High School since 2014. A 4 Year Starter at Chicopee High, Tim was a 3x All-League and 2x All-WMass Selection. He was also selected into the Chicopee Athletic Hall of Fame in 2018. Tim went on to play for American International College in Springfield, Ma. Team Captain in 2013, Tim helped lead the pitching staff to the 16th best ERA in the Country at the DII level.
Dana Sherokow
Dana is one of our lead baseball instructors. He has been with us for the past 2 seasons. Dana has run various baseball camps and clinics as well as doing private lessons for hitting and fielding. Dana played in 2002-2004 Played at Springfield Technical Community College. In 2010-2016 Coached at Chicopee Comprehensive High School. Recently, he has been the Asst Coach for the Varsity Softball team at Amherst Regional High School. Dana also is still actively playing baseball in the Western Massachusetts Wooden Bat League.
Ben Ringman
Ben is one of our most trusted coordinators and baseball coaches. With over 12 years of coaching experience, Ben joined us in 2021 with over 12 years of coaching experience as he was assigned by the Army to Westover ARB from Germany. He has been Coaching Travel Baseball in Virginia and Europe since 2017. During this time, Ben has completed his Bachelors Degree in Sports Management from American Military University and became certified in all aspects of USA Baseball training. Ben enlisted in the Army in 2003 and was Active up to Oct of 2023. He is Married to Angela since 2004 and together they have 3 children who attend Chicopee Schools. In 2017, Ben helped establish the Virginia Heat Travel Club to which they now have 6 teams to include girls Softball. In 2019, he founded the RP Outlaws in Kaiserslautern, Germany. They are now at all four major bases in Europe and one of the largest organizations in Europe. Here in Chicopee he has established the MA Outlaws who are now up to 6 teams and really growing. His passion for developing players and kids is what drives him.
Jason Couture
Jason is our Head Catching Instructor. He also works as a hitting instructor as well. He has been with us for a few years now, embracing his role and enjoying working with local baseball players. Jason is also working on continuing his baseball career with some semi-pro teams. He is someone who knows how much work you need to put in to succeed. Jason graduated from Agawam high school in 2018. Having played all four years, he then went on to play for Holyoke Community College, hitting over .400 and leading the team in Homers and RBI’s. Jason also spent a large part of 2021 as the bullpen catcher for the Red Sox Triple A affiliate; the Worcester WooSox.
James Foley
James Foley played 3 years as a varsity player for South Hadley High School. He is currently the assistant coach for the south Hadley Tigers at the varsity level. Prior to that he coached 5 years as the junior varsity assistant at South Hadley High School.
Drew LeBel
Drew LeBel played 4 years as a varsity player for Chicopee Comprehensive High school where he was a one time All-League selection playing any position asked of him. He was the assistant JV coach for Chicopee Comprehensive High school last year while home from college due to Covid.
Softball Coaches
Mairin Dudek
Mairin has been our lead softball instructor for the last 3 years. She has over 15 years of collegiate coaching experience at the DI, DII and DIII levels and is currently an assistant coach at Amherst College. She is also a clinician for Elite Collegiate Skills Camps and USA Softball of Massachusetts as well as a coach in the Polar Crush Travel Softball Organization. Mairin was a four-year letter winner in the outfield at Ithaca College, where she helped lead the Bombers to four consecutive appearances in the College World Series and to win the 2002 DIII National Championship.
Jenna Webb
Jenna has been with us one year as a hitting and fielding instructor here at 413. She graduated from Harrison High School in Harrison, NY in 2012. During her time as a student-athlete she earned four letters as a varsity softball player. She was also selected as an all-state, all-section, and all-league player throughout her career. In her senior year at Harrison, Webb was selected as Female Athlete of the Year. Webb continued her softball career at Springfield College from 2012-2016. Webb capped off an outstanding career with the Pride, as she finished her career ranked No. 4 all-time in career hits with 194 during her time, while also ranking No. 3 all-time with 55 doubles in four seasons. Webb also was a two time NEWMAC all-conference recipient during her time in the maroon and white, and was named captain prior to her senior year. Webb transitioned to a graduate assistant coach at Springfield College for 2 seasons (2016-2018). She assisted the Pride in making an appearance in the NEWMAC Championship and an NCAA Regional appearance. Webb helped coach Springfield College in the outfield and hitting, along with recruiting prospective student-athletes. Once attaining her Masters, Webb had a 3-year stint with the WPI Engineers as an assistant coach. She helped WPI win a 2019 Regular Season, NEWMAC Championship, and NCAA Regional appearance. Webb assisted with coaching the outfield, hitting, and game day to day operations.
Sarah Baganz
Sarah has been with us as a lead softball instructor for over 2 years. Sarah grew up in Kingston NY. She played varsity softball for 5 years for Kingston High School. She was named rookie of the year in 8th grade for section 9! Sarah served as captain for 3 of the 5 years on varsity. She was named defensive player of the year for 3 years in a row (2013,2014,2015) Sarah then played softball at American International College where she received Academic All American for the 2018 & 2019 seasons. Currently Sarah is a teacher at Valley West School and she is Varsity coach at Longmeadow High School as well as serving as Head Coach of 16U Polar Crush.
